About - Tan Haur Studio

There’s no denying that the digital age has arrived and is here to stay for good. So why not take the arts and creative ideas into the digital world? That is precisely what our team here hopes to do with our new projects and the regional digital art community program (Digital Art for Everybody, established in 2007) supported by the Ministry of Information, Communications and The Arts in Singapore.

This program will give participants a glimpse into digital art technology, mixed media art and creative concepts, through a hands-on experience into digital doodling, drawing and mixed media painting. It empowers creativity, stimulates the mind and enrich the learning experiences.

"I met Tan Haur when he was Chief Curator and Manager of epSITE, a Digital Imaging Gallery & Academy based in Singapore. We worked together when I took on the role as PR Account Manager for epSITE.

The work that Tan Haur has completed is truly amazing. I remember when he first introduced me to his art and being intrigued by his underwater sketching. A favorite past time that led to beautiful captured creations. It was then that I also learnt of Tan Haur’s passion for not only underwater sketching, but also digital art, photography and painting. I have recently become a fan of Tan Haur’s blog and some of my favorite works include the Life series, the Melting Pot and the Black Mountain.

He is beyond doubt dedicated to his workmanship and has achieved so much to date. To name a few, Tan Haur has managed world class photo art shows, digital imaging conferences, community art projects, workshops and training programmes, judged for international digital imaging contests and has won Business Excellency Awards for his work with epSITE. Tan Haur has gained a Masters in Visual Arts from the Australian National University and has become quite a mentor for other up and coming artists.

I am privileged to have gotten the opportunity to meet and work with Tan Haur. He was always ready to lend a helping hand when organizing media interviews, art exhibition launches and various other projects. He was a pleasure to work with and I wish him every success in his career as an art advisor and artist."
